As the new principal of Carroll Senior High I am getting acquainted with our staff as they start coming by in preparation for the new school year. The students, staff and parents that I have met thus far have been very welcoming.

It is hard to believe that school is around the corner but the good news is you still have three weeks to enjoy the last remnants of summer. With the start of school fastly approaching you may have questions about what to expect. Having served as a principal for the past 19 years let me assure you that I am looking forward to being a part of the Southlake Family where we will protect and extend our tradition of success.

Will there be some changes, the answer is probably yes ..... but just minor ones. Some of the things I believe very strongly in include that our staff and students should be proud of their school, community and the families they represent. The climate of our school is something we all create and is the result of the expectations we set for ourselves. Southlake has a reputation for excellence in all things and a sense of pride in who we are which others are envious of.
