First Day of School

We had a great first day of school. I was very impressed with our kids and staff and the way they represent our school. We had 1220 students present on the first day of school with there being 645 Seniors and 575 Juniors. We made a few announcements and reminders to our students which included:

• Tickets are on sale in the main office from 9-2:30 for the Tom Landry Kickoff football game. We will be playing Plano West at SMU on Saturday 8/29 at 4:30 PM.
• Due to having new carpet in the building students are being required to keep food and soft drinks off of the carpeted areas.
• Our Volleyball team plays Justin Northwest tonight and will turn around and play them here on Friday night.
• Reserved Senior parking places will be sold on Thursday and Friday 8/27-8/28 in the SAC.
• Our Senior High Curriculum Night is scheduled for Sept. 9th from 6-7:30. It is our hope that you will come out and meet our staff as they go over their course expectations.
